The photography of D.K. Wall highlights the beauty of the Western North Carolina mountains and its wildlife. Living within walking distance of the eastern border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Mr. Wall can be found exploring those trails as well as hiking into the Pisgah National Forest and the trails off of the southern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The area is blessed with an abundance of wildlife including elk, black bear, bobcats, coyote, turkey and much more. Mr. Wall also enjoy photographing the more domesticated animals common in the area – horses, cows, dogs and cats.
When off the trails, Mr. Wall enjoys his hometown of Maggie Valley, North Carolina, and the beauty surrounding the town.
